Stella Kerr Martin

MARTIN, Stella Kerr, age 89 of Macon, GA, formerly of Maryville, TN, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. (Chuck) Martin; son, Clay Carpenter; daughter, Phyllis Carpenter Bass. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Ada Carpenter of Byron, GA; sister, Lucille Richardson of Bend, OR; grandson, Edwin Laughlin of Melbourne, FL; granddaughters, Angie Benson and Misty Brewer of FL, Stella Ruth Carpenter of Knoxville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Davis officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
