Terry Scott Householder

Terry Scott Householder, age 44 of Maryville left us on February 16th while surrounded by family and friends at UT Medical Center. After almost 4 weeks of fighting, Terry passed around 11:30 AM, due to complications of being struck by a motor vehicle on the evening of January 21st.

Terry was born on October 4th, 1981, at UT Medical Center to parents, Eric and Judy Householder. He attended Maryville City schools and even played football for MMS and MHS. Terry was much like his father and brothers in that he loved being outdoors. He grew up loving the lake, hunting, and fishing.

Terry had many jobs in his life but none as special as his time at Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic. Not only did his father work there, but over time he acquired friends and family at KOC that truly saw the light that shined in him and his smile. Terry was more than a people-person. He loved to help others; he would give someone the shirt off his back if need be.

Terry is survived by his loving parents, Eric and Judy; along with his brothers, Aaron, Zach, and Zach’s wife, Lori. Also, his life-long friends, Ron Hatcher, Kevin Cooper, and Dustin Cooper. He is predeceased by his sister, Carrie and will have his cremated remains laid to rest beside her at Logan’s Chapel Cemetery in Rockford, TN.

There will be a Celebration of Life on March 14th, at Green Meadow United Methodist Church from 1-3 PM.
