Thelma Louise Mcguffey Hitson

Thelma Louise Hitson, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Hitson; grandson, Christian Petersen; great grandson, Corey McGregor; sister, Ruby Stalans; brother, Tom McGuffey. Survivors include daughters, Micki Petersen, Jackie Bushinski, Robbin (Robert) Hale all of Utah; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, Maraline (Gary) Barrett, Debbie (Jay) Lindsey, Sandy Stalans and Steve Epling, Christi (Rob) Fightmaster; nephews, Michael Stalans, Steve McGuffey; sister-in-law, Earlene McGuffey; special friends, David and Cheryl Garner and family. She was loved by many. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hitson officiating. The interment will follow at Old Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
