Thelma Maxine Abbott

Thelma Maxine Abbott, age 81, of Maryville, TN, known as “Mamaw Mac” passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 17, 2020. She was a member of Six Mile Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Williams and Gladys (Ivens) Williams; brother, Lloyd (Corky) Williams; grandson, Lee M. Dickey.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom Abbott; sister, Barbara Sneed; daughters and spouses, Sherri Justice (Charlie), Terri Finger (Chris), Donna Sartain (Skip); grandchildren, Christy Dickey, Josh Sartain, Daniel Walker (Kellie), Adam Finger (Ashley), Matthew Gregory, Chris Sartain (Jenn), Kristal Knight (Josh), Dusty Finger (Alisha), Savannah Justice (Stanley Allen II), Jason Justice; great-grandchildren, Ethan Harvey (Caitlin), Reece Dickey, Jayden and Bryce Walker, Aubrey and Olivia Sartain, Ella and Corbin Allen, Jenna Justice, Lanie and Luke Finger, Hailey and Emylia Knight, Shaw Finger; many nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Carl and Susan Sholtz.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral to immediately follow with Rev. Clifton Hearon and Rev. Charles Murrell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Thursday, at Forest Hill Baptist Cemetery for the interment.
