Theodore (Ted) Langford, 93, of Varnell, Ga., formerly a longtime resident of Maryville, TN, passed away Monday morning at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Ga. A World War II U.S. Army veteran serving in Italy and France, Ted was retired from ALCOA. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa, Tn, and he was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Emily Margaret Russell Langford; daughter, Mary Ann (Cissie) Langford Willocks; Parents, Joseph and Flora Langford; sisters, Ruby Breeden, Betty Henry and Jane Williams; brother, Homer Langford. Ted is survived by grandsons, Michael (Michelle) Willocks of Varnell and Laymon Willocks of Dalton; great grandchildren, Christiana, Brady and Connor Willocks of Dalton; Lanz and Gavin Willocks of Varnell; sister, Marie Thomas of Maryville; son-in-law Clyde Willocks of Calhoun, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home chapel in Maryville with the Rev. Jim Dial and Rev. Greg Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. He will be laid to rest beside his loving wife at Clark's Grove Cemetery.
