Thomas E. Barnard

Thomas E. Barnard, son of C.A. and Ollie M. Barnard, passed away January 21, 2025. Thomas graduated from Orlando High School, Orlando, Florida and from the University of Tennessee, class of 1960. He worked in law enforcement for several years, serving in the US Coast Guard, the Richmond VA Police Department, the US Border Patrol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Valley Authority Public Safety Service, and the Professional Management Authority, Miami, FL. Thomas was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. He was a member of the Gideons International. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Jean Simpson and Billie McClanahan.

He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Ann McCaulley; several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private graveside service.
