Thomas Russell ''Russ'' Painter

PAINTER, Thomas Russell “Russ” age 36 of Friendsville passed away Friday April 2, 2004 at his home. Russ attended church at Friendsville United Methodist Church and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers George Painter and Fred Russell. Survivors include: parents, Donald and Jean Painter; brothers and sister-in-law, Brian and Sharon Painter of Maryville and David Painter of Friendsville; sister, Andrea Adler; nephew, Travis Painter of Maryville; grandmothers, Merle Painter of Asbury Acres and Louise Krick and step- grandfather, Willis Krick of Friendsville; special uncles and aunts, LeRoy and Carolyn Painter and Cynthia and Kenneth Smith; special cousins, Mike and Susan Treadway; special friend, Sean Mills. Services will be held in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel Monday at 7 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Monday. The interment will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cloyd’s Creek Cemetery.
