Troy Wendell "Blue" Smith

Troy Wendell "Blue" Smith - age 76 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Troy was a wonderful husband, a life long farmer and a very kind & honest loving person who enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Louise Carpenter Smith. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Gloria Holt Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Willa Smith; sister, Brenda Ball; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Bella Roberts, Lourdes Rhodes, Jerry Hudge, and Richard Lowe. The family would like to give a special thanks to the physicians and staff in the Blount Memorial Hospital CCU and the CRU Units. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Richard Parker officiating. Family and friends will meet at Carpenters Cemetery 11:00 A.M. Friday for the interment service. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
