Virginia Dare Hargis

HARGIS, Virginia Dare, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Monday, August 4, 2003, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hargis; son, Mike; great grandchildren, Derick and Alex Patterson. Survivors include: daughter, Myrna Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Leon Patterson; son, Robert S. Hargis; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Tami Hargis, Charles Jr. and Betty Hargis; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Maxine Phillips; sisters, Ruth and Katherine Bryant; special niece, Judy Bryant; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service with Vernon Scarbrough, Minister officiating.
