Wade Anthony Tipton

Wade Anthony Tipton, 66, of Maryville, TN, passed away in his home on 11/16/2025. Born on 7/15/1959 in Maryville, TN, he was a loving father to Tonya Tipton, Jennifer Stephens, April Tipton, Samantha Kniskern and Haley Franklin.

Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent many years working in construction. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.

Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity, selflessness, loyalty and “The Mayor” with strong family values he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Dad's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed softball and cars he was a “gearhead” to say the least, often spending his weekends on the ball field or with his family or watching wrestling. His love for softball and wrestling was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.

He is survived by 5 loving daughters, Tonya Tipton Spouse Jackie Hunt, Jennifer and James Stephens, April Tipton, Samantha Kniskern-Thomas, Haley and Hunter Franklin, Sister Dixie Tipton, Grandchildren Chaina Hernandez, Lexi Hunt, Dakota Stephens, Kirsten Stephens, Trevor Webb, Payton and Paisley Richardson, Preston and Tanleigh Pardee, Dansby Simerly, Elizabeth Sanchez, Alexxia Thomas and many beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and mothers of his children Lisa Gaylon and Christina Tipton as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Wade H and Betty M Tipton and brother Curtis Wade.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, at High Praises Church with Rev. Phillip Helton officiating.\

We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
