Walter Lawrence Reiss, Jr.

REISS, JR., Walter Lawrence, age 64 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 3, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Embassy Christian Center and was a retired painter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Walter Lawrence Reiss, Sr., and Evelyn Wagar Reiss. Survivors include his wife, Mazie Bickford Reiss; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Sharla Reiss and Mark and Dena Reiss and their 3 children; daughter, Caroline Reiss; stepsons, James Forgan and wife Linda and Wayne Forgan and wife Lori; grandchildren, Wayne Jr., Katie and Jessica Forgan; brother, Paul Reiss and wife Nancy; sister, Mary Anne Norton; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2005, at Embassy Christian Center with Dr. Tod Zeiger officiating.
