Wayne Edward Perkins

PERKINS, Wayne Edward, age 56, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 8, 2003. He was a devoted Christian that accepted Christ at an early age. He was also a dedicated member and deacon of Cornerstone Fellowship Church. Wayne spent his life working as a fourth generation logger and was completely devoted to his family. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by wife, Linda Perkins and loving daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Chad Smelcer; parents, Rob and Annis Perkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Donna Perkins and Leonard and Robin Perkins; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Tim Myers. He will also be missed by all nieces and nephews, and all of the Potter family; also by special cousin, Don Perkins. He will be missed greatly by countless friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Floyd Oliver, Gordon Robinson and Evangelist Don Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
