William Benford Sexton

SEXTON, William Benford, age 80 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Sexton and brother, Donald Sexton. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, William Andrew and Donna Sexton of Knoxville, Stephen Mark and Kay Sexton of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Laura and Leah Sexton of Macon, Jonathon Sexton of Knoxville; great grandchild, Athan Dane Sexton; sister, Ruth Sexton Hargis of Friendsville; sister-in-law, Theresa Sexton of Maryville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peggy and Melvin Wing of Alcoa. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating.
