William Earl Potter

W. Earl Potter, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Kindred Healthcare-Fairpark. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and retired from Local 152 Union in Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fate and Lina Price Potter; infant brother, Charles Potter; infant sisters, Mary Sue, Gladys Marie Potter; sister, Louise Garner; granddaughter, Angel Hope Potter. Survivors include his wife, Anna Lea Millsaps Potter; daughter, Kathy Ann Potter; son, David Earl Potter all of Maryville; grandchildren, Brian Potter, Krissy and Jason, Brandy and Caylor; great grandchildren, A. J., Amber, Rebecca, Kayla, Caleb, Michael, Sherry, Tina and Alexie; great great grandchildren, Brayden and Mason; brothers, Ralph and Tom Potter all of Maryville; sisters, Ina Bell, Sue, Faye Potter, Ann Little; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Norma and Will Whitehead; sister-in-law, Alice Millsaps; special neighbors, Ben and Lois Blair and Wayne and Janice Teffeteller. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Will Whitehead officiating. Family and friends will meet at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment ceremony. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville 982-6812.
