William Curtis “Buddy” Helton, Jr., age 68 of Louisville, TN passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a 1974 graduate of Alcoa High School. He studied for a nautical degree to design boats. He was an advocate for the disabled and a member of the Wheelbillies in the 1970’s. He loved art, Native American, and sailing. He was the son of the late Dr. W.C. “Bud” Helton and Nancy R. Helton.
He is survived by his loving mother, Nancy R. Helton; sister, Nancy “Joanie” Sauls; brothers, Roger (Tonya) Helton, Adam (Marcel) Helton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends that he loved so much. Also, nurses that took special care of Buddy.
A Memorial and Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
