William Jackson, Jr.

JACKSON JR., William, age 79 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2003, at U. T. Medical Center. He was a member of Alcoa Maryville Church of God, was retired from ALCOA, a member of the 25 Year Service Club, and a member of the Rockford Masonic Lodge #469 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Alma Ferguson Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Earl Whitehead of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Bud and Jo Jackson of Maryville and Mike and Kim Jackson of Decatur, TN; stepchildren, Jerry Ferguson, Sam Ferguson both of Maryville and Mike Ferguson of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Steve Whitehead, Beth and Wade Gibson, Allen Jackson, and Tami Jackson; great grandchildren, Caitlin and David Gibson and Jonathan Whitehead. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Lonas, Rev. Fred Cook and Rev. Carl White officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
