William Jess Kagley

KAGLEY, William Jess, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at his home. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, was retired from ALCOA after 40 years of service, was a Mason and a Scottish Rite Mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kate Montgomery Kagley. Survivors include his sister, Edna (Mrs. Guy) Sterling of Alcoa; nephew, Bob Sterling and wife Shelia of Alcoa; nieces, Carol Jean Bivens and husband Kenneth of Maryville and Nancy Stillwell and husband Rick of Chattanooga; 5 great nieces and great nephews; sister-in-law, Aline Hammond of Chattanooga; cousin and wife, Rex and Virginia Porter of Maryville. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Centenary Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Gale Keown officiating.
