Wilma L. Valentine

Wilma L. Valentine, age 82 of Alcoa, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home. She was the beloved wife of Roy E. Valentine, owner/operators of Dubb’s Restaurant for 27 years. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Roy Edwin Valentine, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Roy E. Valentine; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Doug McClanahan; son, R. Craig Valentine; half-sisters, Brenda Tipton Ewell, Linda Tipton Lamb; granddaughter, Susan Valentine Wilson; grandson, Bradley Douglas McClanahan and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Jackson Douglas and Cole Daniel McClanahan. The family expresses special thanks to Sherry Knox. Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Webster officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery for the interment service.
